Junishi Japanese Zodiac


The Japanese zodiac system is called "Jyuunishi" which refer to the 12 year cycle of animal years.With the Japanese zodiac  we can calculate not only a person's age but also to indicate one's character or personality based on what year the person was born, which makes the Japanese zodiac system interesting. 



The Japanese zodiac Signs consist of 12 kinds of animals : Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar.

I was born in the year of the Horse which is said that people born in this year are cheerful, talented, they love to dress well and adopt new ideas and concepts. Japanese Dragons


The dragon has significant meaning in Japanese culture it represents guardianship and protection. It can also mean strength, power, and wisdom. It have three toes (claws) compared to Chinese dragons which have five. Most Japanese dragons are associated with rainfall and bodies of water.
